PIR Technology & Thermopile-Based Recognition

Butlr’s sensors use a combination of passive infrared technology and thermopile-based recognition. This dual technology guarantees flawless and consistent detection. PIR detects motion by recognizing infrared radiation level changes within the sensor’s view.

Thermopile-based recognition technology measures temperature differences at multiple points and creates a thermal map of the office environment.
